It is possible to enter values for a calculated data element, if they
have been assigned to a data set. It would seem that if a data element
is calculated, and has been assigned to a dataset, it should 1) not be
shown in the data entry screen or 2) be shown in the data entry screen
but show the calculated values. However, if it is shown in the data
entry screen (as is the case now), users should not be allowed to enter
data which conflicts with the calculated data element formula.
