Running latest DHIS2 (downloaded Aug 13), Tomcat 6.0. DHIS2 is deploying OK,
can see all startup steps in log.
However, when I click on the link in Tomcat manager to start a DHIS2 session, I
get the message “Oops, an error has occurred, don’t worry, it’s recorded in the
log”
Only thing in stdout.log after startup steps is out of permgen space on thread,
no stack trace or anything; appears to be a Tomcat message.
I am running with Tomcat settings for memory at 1024M/1024M and permgen at
1024M/2048M. Watching Windows Task Manager during process, there does not
appear to be an increase in memory usage during this process. Also, I am able
to run OpenMRS in this configuration (I stop it before trying DHIS2), so I am
pretty sure that the Tomcat settings are actually in place.
At this point, it’s impossible to stop DHIS2 in Tomcat manager (just keeps
cranking)
It’s also impossible to stop Tomcat via Windows Services.
Only solution is to delete all DHIS2 files and folders under Tomcat.
Suggestions?
Thanks, Roger
