Thanks Suzuki for sharing the Kenyan experience. We also plan to use Gsm modems which are largely branded as HSPA modems.However only about 5% of the coverage is 3G largely in the urban areas while most of the districts only have Edge/Gprs coverage with speeds hovering around 20kpbs. It is good to hear you had no issues with data entry within Edge coverage areas. ISPs are largely outsourced and we seem to get only what trickles down after all the routing Jason explained.
