Hi Gome,
not sure if its a bug - if you select "split horizontally" then you get a new
cell at the same height to the right of the existing one. I would call that
splitting horizontally (but of course depends on how you view it). Anyway this
is built-in ckEditor functionality so not much we can do about it.
