Hi Eddie, You need to create a new indicator type, and be sure that "Number" is set to "True" and "Factor" is set to 1. This will have the affect of not requiring a denominator when you create indicators of this type.
If you have Constants as you mention which never change, you can create them in "Data administration"->Constants and then use them in your indicator formula.
