Further to what Ryan has mentioned below, we have integrated openEMPI and DHIS2 tracker into a maternal health registry which is live in South Africa nationally. at present we aren't using PIX/PDQ but rather a rest interface into openEMPI. if anyone would like to see the REST api calls we are using drop us a line.
