Hi Laura, To limit access to the category option for data entry, one option would be to achieve this through sharing. You can
1) Go to the category option sharing 2) Set public to none For reporting purposes, you can create a category option group and category option group set. These can either be public (view only would be fine) or share with relevant user groups if relevant. I am assuming that you are referring to data set category options.
