The smartphone module is a bit more flexible than the android app. We are using
android phones and have the data entry app installed on the phones. We have had
instances where the users entered data for several months at a stretch using
the app and we could not find the data in the database (possibly a network
issue). If the app can be upgraded to simulate the smartphone module, it would
prove more useful. For example, you do not get a completed entry report using
the app each time a user submits data, which you get using the module. Also,
the messaging function is quite a useful tool.

or also messaging?
