Hi, whatever you put in "dimension" will not be part of the result. So what you see is the totals of the whole db for the given periods/orgunits.
If you don't want the data dimension to be visible in the table/chart you need to put it as filter. I guess you have already tried that and found that indicators can not be set as filter. Unfortunately analytics does not allow that yet, but it works for data elements. So for now indicators must be set as series/columns or categories/rows.
