Hi Gerald Looks like 2 different things are going on here. First as Alex says, check that you don't already have something listening on 8080 (netstat -ntl is your friend). You are getting that error earlier in the catalina log - port is already taken.
Then finally it seems to start but it doesn't look like you have dhis war file deployed. I think we have been through this before, but do you have 2 different tomcat installations which are competing with one another?
