Hi Randy, 

I had this issue and discussed with Jan a while back. It is a feature
but he agreed that there is use case for summing values as well as
counting. If you have three values say, 25, 30 and 10. Right now the
event reports will give you a count of 1 for each of these values but
what we need is a value of 65. 

The only work around I can think of for now is to use the aggregation
query buildrr. Choose "Sum of data elements" for your aggregation
operator. This means you can analyse your data as aggregate values.
