Hi Eric and Prosper, Prosper, agree we should not allow category combinations to be selected for data elements with domain type 'tracker'.
As to your example I'd like to add that for events it would probably make more sense to create separate data elements for 'age' (numeric) and 'gender' (text with option set male/female), as this will give a lot more flexibility in terms of analysis and aggregation later. That's part of the strength of the events model compared to aggregate.
