Hi , I am Harsha Siriwardana and currently i am a 3rd year Computer Sceience and Engineering student from University of Moratuwa,Sri Lanka. I have currently having my internship at a company called Codegen International(pvt) Ltd.
I read the DHIS2 GSOC project proposals and i am interested in "Enhance existing DHIS2 android dashboard application". I like to spend this summer using my knowledge and also do something productive to improve health systems in developing countries. Since i am also from developing country i know the importance of it. The expected technologies are things i am working frequently and which i am familiar with. So i am confident that i can do this project. I have also do some projects related to Android Web Sockets and communicating with external devices. So further this app can be extended to receive data from external Bluetooth devices and use the received data to display. like wise app can be extended to use in more practical way. I have that kind of embedded project skills also, This is a just an idea to improve the Android application.
