No. X font services simply don't give us enough font imformation. We need font outlines to do PostScript output and anti-aliased fonts. X font services have given us nothing but grief, and we're abandoning them in favor of FreeType. The CVS version uses font-config to setup fonts, which has a per-user config part, and is also somewhat better about alternative fonts. -Lars -- Lars Clausen (http://shasta.cs.uiuc.edu/~lrclause)| Hrdgrim of Numenor "I do not agree with a word that you say, but I |---------------------------- will defend to the death your right to say it." | Where are we going, and --Evelyn Beatrice Hall paraphrasing Voltaire | what's with the handbasket? _______________________________________________ Dia-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list FAQ at http://www.lysator.liu.se/~alla/dia/faq.html Main page at http://www.lysator.liu.se/~alla/dia
