There are many other things you can also filter on other than the subject line (various mail headers, the footnote that is always included, etc). > As mail subjects like: "How Do I?" will usually considered spam by > myself (yes, and I'm using a good spamfilter). I would encourage people to use more descriptive subject lines, think of it as a summary and if you can describe the gist of the whole message in just one line then please do. It looks as if you are using a Mozilla based mail client. If you spamfilter is good it doesn't sound like it is well configured. > Using the digest mode will have such a prefix, but this makes it much > harder to respond to a mail. If you get the Digest in MIME mode it is possible to reply to individual messages if you have a clever mail client. > Any chance that a prefix like [dia] to the mailing list mails could be > added? I would very strongly prefer if the subject line was left as is. With all due respect I highly recommend you invest in a mail program that supports message threading, which makes it far easier to indentify mailing list discussions. - Alan _______________________________________________ Dia-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list FAQ at http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia/faq.html Main page at http://www.gnome.org/projects/dia
