you'right... so sorry I missed it in the bugzilla. Actually, using the 
--nosplash flag it works like a charm (put aside a little warning about 
not being able to open X server connexion). Might be interesting to add 
this feature in the --help or in the man page, since one would assume 
that there is obviously no splash when dia is run from the command line 
to run an export.
