That's a cool thing to do. I never bothered about overlapping lines before because Dia doesn't have such a feature. But now that I see your examples, I think I'll do that too ... the diagram looks nicer. Ideally this should be a feature in Dia itself ... until that happens this workaround is very useful. In another thread Christian had mentioned creating examples on the Dia homepage ... you should do that too! Just for the sake of people who would like it when they see it.
