Hi CL, thanks for your interest in Dia.

Have a look at the Dia Shape Repository: http://dia-installer.de/shapes.html This is a place where several other shape packages are available already. And packages from this repository can be installed using the diashapes wizard. For most of the shapes published in the repository, I did a little bit of quality control, icon polishing and package standardization. As you've derived your shapes from other artwork, the licensing terms should be clarified. In case you prefer to publish your shapes on the mailing list, I suggest that instead of sending shape packages to the mailing list you place them on a website and send the URL to the mailing list. In case you don't have a website available, you could use bugzilla.gnome.org. This approach keeps mail sizes on the mailing list small. In case you would like to share your Python tool, http://live.gnome.org/Dia/Python might be the right place to put it.
