Albert,

when "printing" PDF files, you also have to consider the paper sizes set
in your PDF
printer. To avoid this problem, you could try to use Dia's PDF export
feature instead
of printing.

1. Select File->Export... from the menu
2. Choose "Cairo Portable Document Format (*.pdf) as the file type
3. Save the file

Does this approach give better results than printing PDFs in your case?
