+3 for packaging instead of download option: As an admin (among other hats) I always prefer packaged thingies over download options. If there is a problem or an error, I do always know what is installed (or not) using the package management. Otherwise I would have to scan user directories etc. which is cumbersome. As a user (another hat) I prefer packaged thingies over download options. If there is a problem or an error, I do always know how and to where report the bug, i.e. the distributor. Otherwise I would have to find out about different bug trackers etc. As a Debian developer (third hat) I prefer packaged thingies over download options. If there is a problem or an error, I know that it's all my fault ;~) Cheers _______________________________________________ dia-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/dia-list FAQ at http://live.gnome.org/Dia/Faq Main page at http://live.gnome.org/Dia
