Hello / bonjour the "custom shapes" section of Dia manual will help. There are limitations to the SVG1/1 specs (only a subset is implemented -- think no gradients nor splines, but this is given in the manual).

Les spécifications SVG 1/1 ne sont pas implémentées à 100%, et les balises utilisables sont données par le manuel. you can also import a svg file (if in the svg subset), then save it as a dia shape. There is also an interface to build sheets (collections of shapes). En important un fichier svg compatible, on peut également le sauver comme une forme dia. Il existe une interface graphique pour construire des collections ou "feuilles" (sheets) de formes (shapes). IMHO, it is preferable to hand-writing the SVG code, even only for cleanup.
