I thought a bit about scaling and I think it's a bit more tricky. You certainly
won't scale all of the diagram because objects originally being rigid
such as class boxes and especially text should be equally sized among
different diagrams if you don't want to annoy the reader. Therefor it
would be much more useful to have a scaling tool within dia which conserves
all constraints (connections, rigidity etc.)
