I just edited a rather large diagram. When I eventually
tried to modify the attributes of z zigzagline, the whole
got a segmentation fault preceded by a Gtk warning:

Gtk-WARNING **: The `DiaColorSelector' class is smaller than its parent class
`GtkButton'

Anyway, the point I'd like to make, is that it would be really great to have
a feature like emacs backup, i.e. creating a backup file for the current
edited buffer, which is updated every x seconds till the buffer is saved explicitely
to disk. Sure, I simply can save it every now and then but once you are used to
emacs' feature you forget to do that because you are always safe.
