No, I didn't - I used configure from last official distribution.
When I tried autogen.sh I got:
----------------------------------------------------------------
bash-2.01$ ./autogen.sh
I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish
to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh command line.
Running gettextize... Ignore non-fatal messages.
Shall I run config.status? (y/N)
sed: can't read aclocal.m4: No such file or directory
You should update your own `aclocal.m4' by adding the necessary
macro packages gettext.m4, lcmessage.m4 and progtest.m4 from
the directory `/aclocal'
Running libtoolize
You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to
`aclocal.m4'.
aclocal: configure.in: 13: macro `AM_DISABLE_STATIC' not found in
library
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 526: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(dia,'
./configure: line 526: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(dia, 0.41)'
Now type 'make' to compile dia.
----------------------------------------------------------------
And then make gave:
----------------------------------------------------------------
bash-2.01$ make
/bin/sh ./config.status --recheck
running /bin/sh ./configure --no-create --no-recursion
loading cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 526: syntax error near unexpected token
`AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(dia,'
./configure: line 526: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(dia, 0.41)'
make: *** [config.status] Error 2
----------------------------------------------------------------
I guess some package I use is too old or sth. like that. But which one
(I use Debian hamm 2.0 with some slink packages) ?
