 It's only in cvs i think. File->Preferences, thenm User
Interface->Compress saved files.

 Ouch! Bad typo. And we're stuck with it for backwards compatibility...

What problems did you have compiling from CVS? Except that it might not
run very good right now. It should at least compile.
