Dia is great. It is the first vector drawing package I have ever liked. As well as its target function of diagrams it has great promise for presentations - say like P#werp#int from M$. To do this it would need a couple of extensions. 1) Multiple page documents. Eiher a new file type that wraps a bunch of dia file names, or an extension to the XML tags to support multiple pages. 2) Printing support for multiple pages. 3) Eventually, a thumbnail viewer - navigator. 4) Even further in the future, a slide show mode. The only graphical element that I would use beyond those provided would be a gradient fill object; this could be just a rectangle. This would allow nice page backgrounds, washes behind titles, and all that sort of thing. Thank you for a lovely application, these are just some ideas I had. Julian Satchell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
