Hello all, I'll add another "great job" to the long list in the mail archives. I'm wondering what the direction is for how objects are to be created in future releases. Now that custom objects are working, is the goal to get away from compiling in objects, either completely or just for the simple ones? Personally, I have an interest in seeing more network objects, and also some properties on the existing objects. Is there any plan to implement custom property dialogs for custom objects (as in fields defined in the shape file, beyond the current color/line type choices). I'm having visions of a router object with a dialog for adding interfaces, and each interface would have a IP and a MAC address associated with it. Do you see something like this ever being implemented with the current (or a future) custom object stuff, or will something like this alway be a compiled part object?
