I'm interested in adding a digital logic symbol sheet to dia (and, or,
not, nand, xor, etc., in four orientations) -- unless someone has
already done that -- and I'd like to find out some information on the
official standard(s). I've poked around a little on IEEE's web pages,
but I couldn't find anything free there (most of their standards
documents cost $$ to obtain -- how's that for open standards!).
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone can provide complete descriptions, or
point me to some on-line descriptions of what constitutes the standard
logic symbols, including the variability present (for example, I've
been told that it's "legal" to stretch out some of the symbols in one
direction, but that other symbols have to maintain a constant aspect
ratio). I'd be much happier being conformant to the standard that
trying to "eye" these symbols myself. Thanks,
