Unable to edit old files

Hello,
i am in trouble editing old files written with the Dia version shipped with
RH6.1. I tried to edit them but while it is possible to perform a reload and
even a print, it is not possible to edit any object. I tried even with new
versions (up to 0.80). Any idea????
