Hi,

when i try to change the font of a text string
in a shape dia tells me:

Warning no X Font for Times-Roman found,
using adobe-courier-medium-r-normal-*-%d-*-*-* ... instaed

Times-Roman is only one example. It also doesn't work with
all other selectable fonts except courier and avangarde.

I dont understand what goes wrong since 'xlsfont' gives me:
jens jens > xlsfonts|grep bookman
-urw-bookman-demibold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-bookman-demibold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-bookman-light-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-bookman-light-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1

or

jens jens > xlsfonts|grep helvet
-urw-helvetica narrow-bold-o-condensed--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica narrow-bold-r-condensed--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica narrow-medium-o-condensed--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica narrow-medium-r-condensed--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica-bold-o-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica-medium-o-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-helvetica-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1

or

jens jens > xlsfonts|grep times
-urw-times-bold-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-times-bold-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-times-medium-i-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1
-urw-times-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1

??? And, why dia doesn't use the normal gtk-fontselection
dialog, could this solve the problem???

Thanks, Jens
