Well, something like that. There is "DiaCanvas", which is just the
display canvas, that can be used as a component in other programs.
I'm waiting for a programmable interface to Dia; someone is working on a
Python interface. When that's done, we can write routines for project
management interfaces: displaying data in various ways, user interfaces
for management functions, summary/detail displays, routines to interface
to other data sources...
