This problem has been fixed in CVS so should be gone in the next
release. Thank you for reporting it though. Hopefully that will be the
last locale related bug in the load/save code.

We use the GNOME bug tracking system (http://bugs.gnome.org/). There are
instructions on the web site for submitting bugs, or you can use the
bug-buddy program distributed with gnome.
