Subject: Dia

Hello Alexander,

I'm a dia user who is about to finish a new product which in turn
makes me wishing there where another three features in dia.

1) It should accept URL's, especially http, better though https, and use
respective ~get and ~put when operating on files (like the amaya html
editor).

2) It would be great if I could safly pipe a dia drawing through "dia
-e" and be sure that this won't neither read arbitrary files nor write
any files with predefined names or outside /tmp.

3) I found some documentation, how to write new shapes, but none about
the structure of the dia drawing itself. I'd love to see that to
enable myself to create drawings outside of dia.

Thanks

/Jerry
