We are not dropping 1.2 support, or targetting 2.0 at the moment.  Alex
was testing out the framebuffer GTK with dia.  If some of the patches
don't affect 1.2 compatibility, then applying them now will ease the
transition to 2.0.

No one is thinking of making dia incompatible with 1.2 (at least not until
2.0 is stable :)
