Dear Mr. Oliver, Seaweed and Seagrass are best source of minerals but the salinity content in the digestate would have an impact on the soil. Seaweed is washed and then used either for composting or for extraction for agricultural use (to negate salinity). Since seagrass is co digested with cow dung, there may not be much problem in producing biogas and asa matter of fact your yield should be higher. The microbes will acclamatize.
