Of course, some MP3 software has better models for this than others.
For compression, a ZIP/TAR could be used, but I would advise going through it and clipping out long periods of silence (Phil Shapiro should have pointers on that, he and I were working on something which I can't remember the details of right now). If it's still big - and I expect it will be - consider breaking the file into 10 meg size files. -- Taran Rampersad [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.linuxgazette.com http://www.a42.com http://www.worldchanging.com http://www.knowprose.com http://www.easylum.net "The wave of the future is not the conquest of the world by a single dogmatic creed but the liberation of the diverse energies of free nations and free men." — John F.
