Hi everyone,
All this past week I've been experimenting with RSS feeds to collect the latest news and blogs coming from the tsunami disaster area. At first I was using a free tool called Kinja to aggregate my feeds, but I've had some problems with the site (people kept changing the account password) so I decided to take a crack at installing a feed aggregator on my blog. At the same time, I discovered that the domain name tsunami-info.org was available, so I bought it.
So right now I'm working on creating a fairly simple site that displays the latest news and blogs related to the tsunami. Here's what I have so far:
http://www.andycarvin.com/tsunami.html
(The URL tsunami-info.org isn't functional yet; it should be up by tomorrow.)
For those of you who are familiar with my blog, you'll see I've started with that template. I'd like to spice it up with a better banner at the top, but I have no graphical skills whatsoever. I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with some graphic designs for the banner. Additionally, if anyone has feeds, resources, etc, they'd like listed on the site, please let me know.
Please contact me off-list if interested.
thanks, ac
