Hi Andy, What version of mailman are you using? We are on 2.1.2 and it does not reject HTML posts. Additionally, there is an option to convert HTML to plain text (under content filtering).
However, I'm not in favor of allowing HTML posts to go through. Too much bandwidth, too much noise, and too many people who use purple fonts in italics.
