Hi everyone,

Emily's email got me wondering about the number of communities created so far on the DDN website. It turns out we now have 51 communities, though not all of them are active yet. To see a full list, go to http://www.digitaldivide.net/comm/ and click the "Show All" button near the bottom of the center column.

I'd like to invite DDN members who've created a community on the website to introduce (or reintroduce) us to it. Please feel free to tell us the name of your community, its mission, audience, and the URL. I'd also suggest you put the name of your community in the subject line of your message so it will stand out clearly to all of us.

One of the big challenges of starting a community is building an audience for it, but the DDN list is a great way to introduce of us to it, and hopefully bring some new participants to your community.

thanks, ac
