As for the Yale folks, I have a feeling they subscribed, posted, and unsubscribed. I haven't heard anything else so I think this conversation has been simply amongst ourselves.

Don't think so. I saw them post the same message on several other lists - and I've never seen the sender participate in any of the lists before.
