I've just recorded a new podcast called Grassroots Indian Women Speak Out. It's a 10-minute interview with four women from rural India who were invited to participate in the WSIS process by OneWorld South Asia.
http://www.andycarvin.com/podcasts/grassroots.mp3 They discuss the importance of women and linguistic minorities in the WSIS process, and advocate a grass-roots campaign in which rural women from across the South would be invited to participate in WSIS. Special thanks to Geeta Sharma of OneWorld for providing translation.... -ac ps- I will try to write a transcript of the podcast later; right now I need to help draft language for the education caucus.... ------------------------------------------------- Andy Carvin Program Director EDC Center for Media & Community acarvin @ edc . org ------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ DIGITALDIVIDE mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.edc.org/mailman/listinfo/digitaldivide To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the message.
