I am in the process of assembling four panels for the 2005 ARNOVA Meeting in
November in Washington, DC. The tentative titles are

Advancing Nonprofit Informatics: Technology in Advocacy, Activism and
E-Democracy

Advancing Nonprofit Informatics: Technology in the Service of Nonprofit
Scholarship
Advancing Nonprofit Informatics: Technology in Management, Fundraising and
Service Delivery

Advancing Nonprofit Informatics: Technology in Nonprofit Management
Education.

These are paper panels that require an abstract for each paper. I have room
on all of these for a few more abstracts. If you are interested, please
send me your abstract ASAP. ARNOVA welcomes practitioners, academics and
students. We had great discussions at the Los Angeles Conference and are
hoping for an even better dialog in Washington. Thanks

John

We have come too far, we have sacrificed too much, to disdain the future
now.

The citizen can bring our political and governmental institutions back to
life, make them responsive and accountable, and keep them honest. No one
else can.

John Gardner

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The
latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to
hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.
Albert Einstein

Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere
the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few
calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few
calculations to defeat, how much more no calculation at all! [1:26] Sun Tzu
