-------------------------------- Nominations - Board of Directors -------------------------------- CTCNet is currently accepting nominations for individuals to serve on the Board of Directors. You may also email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with any questions. === ABOUT CTCNet BOARD === CTCNet is governed by a Board of Directors, currently numbering eighteen (18). In accordance with CTCNet bylaws, at least 2/3 of Directors must represent CTCNet members in good standing. === 2005 ELECTION CYCLE INFORMATION === -- A total of six (6) Director seats are available. -- At least five (5) of the six (6) open seats are designated for Member Center Representatives, in accordance with CTCNet bylaws. Nominees for these seats must be individuals that directly work or serve a minimum of 20 hours a week with a community technology center or program, which utilizes information and communications technology tools and resources to provide a range of vital services directly to individual community members who would otherwise lack access. -- Individuals representing a CTCNet member organization which, in turn, manages other community technology centers or programs will only be considered for Member Center Representative seats if the individual in question directly works within a particular center or program. -- High Priority Consideration will be granted to nominees exhibiting (a) Geographic Diversity, including representation from Southwestern, Southern, and Western states; (b) Professional Expertise in the legal and financial sectors; and/or (c) Programmatic Experience, including literacy, workforce and community development, and housing Peace and Blessings Shireen Mitchell ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Executive Officer - Digital Sisters, Inc.
