A rather often heard commercial for credit cards asks viewers "What is in
your wallet?" Those disposing, donating or reselling a computer or
computers might well ask what is on the hard drive? A body of literature
is developing about data recovered from used computers resold, donated or
found on public space including private medical records, business data of
a firm, legal records and personal private information.
