Dear David Abel

Forty of our 269 partner organizations in 49 countries in Africa, Asia,
Latin America, and Eastern Europe are committed and have gathered 90% of
their cash and in-kind resources to plan, train, install, and connect used
donated computers in 1,300 schools with over half a million students. They
are looking for that last 10%. The need is $1 per student to get them
connected. $12,500 connects 12,500 students. We would appreciate piloting
a relationship between your Rotary Club in helping gather computers, funds,
sister-schools, press, and volunteers to help with online support with
planning, technology, telecenter management, local content devleopment,
environmental disposal, and evaluation. This is easily scalable involving
many other clubs in the USA and Canada - as the demand is great.

Best wishes,

Timothy Anderson
President
