Hi Melissa and Everyone,

I was a student in Adelaide, South Australia. Australia has just
reopened its High Commission here in Ghana. I just got a message from
the new High Commissioner. Look forward to throwing another shrimp on
the barbie!

Seriously, I am also new to this network. Although I agree with the
Economist that "digital divide" is pretty old hat - sitting in Ghana, I
do not feel I am on the same level at all. It is much more than a divide
within one ontological space. For more of my views on this go to
http://sohne.net and look for the mp3 file - podcast without knowing? of
Chris Lydon's Wide World radio programme - I have found the list and
associated resources very usefuil. Please point me specifically to the
reading by Andy that you mention.
