Dear Taran, and other esteemed colleagues: Actually, the folks from the Berkman Center DIDN'T suggest micropayments as the key to the new "networked economy." That idea came out of a conversation that John McNutt and I had about how it might all possibly work. So please blame the topic of micropayments on us - or, to be more practical, blame it on me. John is in South Korea this month teaching a course, and probably isn't tracking this thread.
