hi everyone -

    i'm beginning to understand how the internet archive works regarding
uploaded videos. if the videos are uploaded in certain "more bulky"
formats, the internet archive automatically creates smalled sized,
more compressed versions of the video.

     for example, yesterday i uploaded a 500 megabyte mpeg-1 video file,
and the internet archive automatically created 2 smaller mpeg-4
versions of this file. i like that.  less work on my part. more
choices for the viewing public.
