This topic has produced several letters. But like many things on this list it is looking only at hardware to solve problems. That will never happen with any of the major global problems, I predict. They are too complex to be solved by hardware ALONE.
None of the twenty critical global problems discussed in High Noon are closer to solution than they were several years ago when the book was published. There are some ideas, but not fully understood yet.
