I seriously doubt that either labs or computers in homes will help,
particularly not old computers, The article accessed through the URL argues
that the current situation is not tolerable, which I agree with. Then it
proposes a solution, computers in homes, that is not going to help, with no
evidence to support it.

The real problem is that there is so little of use currently on the
Internet, particularly with regard to learning. We need learning that
continuously adapts to each user.
